I have a broody goose !!! (:

Hi all,

I have a trio of African geese. Anyway, one goose went broody and is now one 10 goose eggs!!!

I'm so excited I just had to tell you all!!!

So wise us luck and just maybe by the end of all this I may have 10 more geese!!!

Yay, I have a year old Sebastopol sitting on her first eggs. 10 eggs! Your goose was really busy laying. good luck to the growing family.

Thanks, I think the reson the nest has so many eggs in it is b/c my other goose was also laying her eggs in that same nest. But now that this goose has gone broody that other goose has made a new nest close by.

My 2 yr old Tufted Buff just went broody on 3 eggs ! She tried last year, but the eggs all disappeared (in their day pen, go figure)...So this year I am trying the nest in a tupperware bin on the ground, thinking maybe a rat or snake came from underneath? Others thought...
