Consider taking that chick (and other early hatchers) to a brooder until ALL others have hatched.. 4 days is a bit too staggered for chickens.. and the hen will have some choices to make.. leave the nest and abandon eggs to care for the early hatcher or stay tight. :fl

Next time (maybe) collect all your eggs until you're ready to set them in order to avoid staggered hatching and produce the most easily favorable outcome. Well marked and nest checked daily for extra deposits to be removed if kept with other ladies.
