I have a Bully Hen

I have three RR all are the same age and have been together for the past four years. One of my Reds is aggressively going after another one. She won't let her out of the coop, eat, or drink until the other two are in the run. Do i need to separate the one who is being bullied or the aggressive one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You might want to consider pinless peepers for the bully. The device often levels the playing field for the victim when all else fails.

You could put some blinders on the bully, these are called Pinless Peepers. They snap into the nostrils and create a blind spot which makes it hard to peck another chicken. It doesn't stop them from eating or drinking and they don't seem uncomfortable. It's hard to continue to be a bully tho.
This girl had bloodied another chicken one too many times. Now she's much mellower. The pecking stopped.
I got a pack of them on Ebay. They are inexpensive and easy to use.
