I have a chick with a gooy eye, what do I do?

My chick's are about 1 week old. One of them looks like it's eye is infected. It's all gooy like kittens eyes get. What should I do

Get some saline solution at the drug store (or make some - google "make saline solution"). Flush the eye out regularly. You can do this immediately.

If needed, you can get an ointment for the eye. I don't know what's it is called. Someone know the name?
