And at our place when the toothpaste gets flat and empty three days before payday, you cut the bottom off with scissors and can get some more out....

My boys, 11 and 8, have different cap and tube philosohies. The older one refuses to share toothpaste with the younger one because the younger one leaves the cap off. When the bathroom is cleaned, each one cleans his own sink because the other is too disgusting for words.....two sinks, and their own bathroom and they still can't get ready for bed without fighting.

Dh and I also have our own tubes of toothpaste.

My wonderful husband is a mechanic and has the big strong hands his job requires . . . I just laugh my butt off everytime I see him grab that little soft tube and squeeze the heck out of it . . . we too are two tube family
