I saw a youtube video last year that showed someone helping out a hatch with twin embryos. They couldn't get out because they were too cramped, but after very minimal assistance, they made it just fine.

I'd let em try on their own, but be ready to assist if they go a LONG time with no progress. That is too awesome.
