I can't wait to watch them grow! They are such a joy! My husband wants to put them in the outside brooder, but I want to keep them right here next to the computer so I can watch them! They are sooo funny!

Congrats on the babies..so much fun. We have three runner ducks, 6 weeks old tomorrow, and they are absolutely huge. They are already outside in the coop with the older hens and loving it. They practically live in their pool.
Be prepared to be amazed, it will go so fast.

I loved brooding my 4 indoors.

I could also see them from the computer and the TV loveseat. I swear, duck-TV is way better than real TV.

Then I loved moving them outdoors. They really get messy around week 3. PEW!

Now I am loving watching them duke it out with the silkies over who is brooder coop boss. So far, the showgirl is ahead. The silkie goes bouncing across the coop at the ducks, and sometimes they run. Othertimes they stand their ground and hiss. They are just like kids on a playground.
