I have a farm not an animal dump!

u think thats bad i workon the road and when i came home my wife accepted a freaking possum what r u going to do with a possum

Want to know what I think?

I'd say SURE! I'd love to take them off your hands! Once they were mine, I would send them off to the freezer. The next time I saw my co-worker I'd be sure to say with a HUGE smile on my face, "Thanks SO much for those birds! That saved me a bunch of money and will feed my family for WEEKS!" That ought to teach 'em!

I mean really, what right do they have over the birds, or the pigs, or any animal once they hand over ownership to someone else?? NONE AT ALL. So they'd get no say in it, and would just have to get over the fact that THEY sent their beloved "pet" to be slaughtered, instead of caring for it like a responsible adult.

And besides that, free food for me. LOL

I just had a friend try to pull the same thing on me. A coworker was going to give her chicks because she had bought a big mixed batch from a hatchery. She tells me, "You should help me pick them out. I don't want them over winter so I'm going to give them to you in the fall." What? No, my coop is full. Then she tells me the box was labeled "male" or "cockerels" or something like that. Yes, please bring me a bunch of roosters in the fall because the 5 that I have now aren't enough.

Lol. Some people dont get it. They dont consider space and time.
as far as the pig if i knew a place to get it done cheap i so wouldve anyway. But im pluggin to much into chickens for now. Gotta love first time need to buy it all lol. Next up im getting an imcubator

Wow! He tried again this morning. I told him the freezer is the only place they would go then told him to back off or I was calling the manager then HR to file a harassment complaint.

Hmmm people don't do that around here.

I kinda wish they would! I love animals and will take any that I can get. Most people want to sell sell sell sell! (Even barn cats! it is hard to find free cats!! and I need mousers!)

I agree. When you say you have a farm, some people think that means an animal sactuary or animal rescue. I have learned to be firm and say no.
