I have a hen bleeding profusely at the neck!

At first I wasn't sure if the hen was diseased or suffered an injury. Now I know for sure she had an injsury of some kind. i know I need to separate her for sure. Under the feathers all around the neck she is bleeding profusely. I cannot find a vet in my area to treat her, although I'm still looking. I have no idea how to treat her. Help!!!!!!!!!!

Put some firm pressure on it (without choking her) to stop the bleeding. Than take a deep breath! If you can stop the bleeding you'll be able to tell how severe it is and what needs to be done next.

I had a hen that was sick once and it seems the flock knew this. I got home from work and her neck was in the condition you described. I checked the beaks of the flock and found the bullies. I think it is their instinct to behave this way. I am not saying that is what happened, but giving you one thing to look into. I hope she is going to be ok. Good Luck.

Oh that's bad! Maybe she got attacked by something?(Dog, cat, hawk, etc.?) if you can't find a vet, I would put something(like a wet cloth, or something) on the wounds to help stop bleeding. I'm sorry I can't be of much help. Not sure what you can do for her.

put all purpose flour on or cornstartch immediately to stop the bleeding.

My daughter who is out there all the time also thinks the other hens have pecked her. I'll create a separate pen for her tomorrow and watch and see what happens. She's still eating and drinking but it's a nasty mess under her feathers.

When that happened to mine, i rinsed it with saline solution to clean the area and i gave her an area to rest.
Maybe some yogurt and/or vitamins in her water. The next day my hen already looked so much better.
The hole on her neck was about the size of a 50 cent piece. I was amazed at how fast she healed. But it might be a warning that something is wrong with her....... or just the bottom of the pecking order too i suppose. Spoil her to she isn't lonely
