I have a hen ??

My hen just hatched 5 out of 6 eggs. I was woundering If I leave the chicks with her how long will it take for her to start laying again.

I had my first broody a few months back and it took her 49 days before she layed her first egg after hatch. I was talking to someone else here on BYC and her's started laying again a little earlier than mine did. Probably depends on breed and stuff, but that should give you somewhat of an idea. HTH.
