Seriously though, where did they get Foghorn Leghorn's coloring from? He was created in the 40's I now some of it could be artistic license, but it could have been a true pattern.

Definitely artistic license. Chickens can have white heads and tails and red bodies, but not the other way around.

I mean, other than Eagle here.

Not really, but 1st is a paint, 2nd is a Khaki, & #3, another paint.

I wouldn't give up on trying to get more like eagle.

Okay I’ll keep going. I do have some almost 1 months olds out in a run now, free ranging everyday so it’s d been interesting watching them as well, I’m seeing many with the random black/gray feathering throughout their white body. We will see over time. If I get a male from one of eagles (banded) chicks I’ll try again in future.

#2 isn’t khaki, many chickens with red leakage and one copy of dominant white look like that.

I've never seen that color, in a dominant white bird .

Are you talking about the red around the neck? Or the shade of "white" on the rest of the chicken?

I think #2 has the same leg color as Eagle? Is that significant?
