So question? My eggs are hatching now. Will I need to wait 4-6 weeks for them to feather in more to tell if they look a lot like eagle?

Unless you for sure identified which chick she was and what she looked like, yes, you'll need to wait until the time you noticed her looking different.

I would agree with this. I cant wait to hopefully see another one like eagle!

One has black spots on back that I didn’t notice yesterday. One also has more of a brownish/darker head so we’ll see

That dark in is one from a tan egg, slate legs egger so not from a leghorn egg

These are from all my leghorn ladies not eagle specifically. I’m waiting for spring to separate her and collect her eggs. So I’m excited for when that happens as i think the likelihood will go up we get one like her.
