I have a momma hen hatching 2 duck eggs- we have duck bills already!

I have a black cochin Bantam hen sitting on 2 duck eggs, this is her first hatch. the eggs are call/cayuga/and rouen duck mixes. I have hatched these before the come out like cayuga, egg size is smaller though. and these eggs are green.

this hen sat on them the whole time by herself, last couple of days another hen came over and tried to claim them. It is hot so I moved momma and eggs into house so she could finish up.

eggs hatched! momma hen is with the babies, in brooder. when I put them outside, I showed the babies to the duck who laid the eggs. (she didn't sit on them) but she had this look on her face like "wait are those mine?" our girl goose wasn't quite so questioning she said "those are not your babies! they belong to us give them back!" she had her neck up. momma chicken, cochin bantam sat on the eggs took to them now is very protective.
