I have a mystery condition with my Tom Turkey Please Help!

Oh my goodness! That looks terrible. i agree with the others who said most likely a tumor or very bad infection. i think a visit to the vet is warranted. Good luck. Hope Tom gets better soon.

What does it feel like? Hard, soft, squishy, does it feel like food? I have honestly never seen anything like that. I'd be tempted to use a syringe and see if anything can be sucked out.

I have pictures on my BYC page. He doesn't have any bite or scratch marks on him just the lump for no apparent reason.

The images are of a tom that has air leakage. To remedy the situation, lance the area with a small jagged cut and let the air out. The reason for a jagged cut and not a puncture is the hole needs to stay open long enough for the leakage to heal. A puncture will let the air out but will often seal itself before the leakage has healed causing the condition to return.
