I just wanted to say that i'm really impressed in the before and after pictures. Good job taking such good care of her. Turns out she's a beautiful hen!

Update on my mystery hen.
She is beautiful, healthy and calm. This month she started laying blue eggs. Maybe she is a prairie blue bell egger?

Has she laid eggs while you've had her, or is that just what the previous owner told you? If I'm not mistaken hens don't generally lay while going through a molt, which it looks like she is.

That comb is so interesting. From the side it looks like an Angel trumpet flower. Have you named her yet?
