First of all the Australian Shepherd is an American Breed, not Australian. LOL

If you have already named the male pup Roscoe, then you really want a name that is not close to his. Especially if you plan on working stock with them, then the dogs will be better to know which one you are calling to do something.

As to names, what were her parents called? She looks like a Diana to me.

Ok - it is decided -

Congrats, That's a good name for her, I'm sure she will live up to it.

I used to have a collie/shepherd mix that I rescued from the pound and that was her name.

I LIKE IT! I am so glad it wasn't chloe (my daughters name) or Sydney or Bear. I work at an animal shelter and those names are Super Duper common. Sassy is different and well.....sassy!

Seriously, I know what you mean about common names. I could put a list together of the top 20 dog names (10 male, 10 female) in my area and at least 50% of the dogs coming in on a given day would have their name on the list. Same thing with cats.

The weirdest and cutest name I ever heard belonged to a wild labrador puppy named "Lunch Box"
