Ok, this bator thing is NOT for me.......too much waiting and hoping. I only had one viable egg from 9 that I got through the mail, and it is now pipped. a day early...I have a LG still air, water wiggler had read 99.6-101 through the whole process. right now, the humidity says 55 percent. anything else I should do, other than go away for the day?

I feel bad, I wont have more chick buddies for him/her until next thursday. he will be lonely and sad.......

If there is.......i'm sure someone will let you know. Try the little stuffed animal thing. I have seen pics on here where the lonely chick snuggles right up to it. Wicked cute!!!!

Congrats! It is hard to wait. I have two more cracked and two with pip holes and one of those keeps sticking the tip of his beak out and chirping!

My son, who was teasing me with my husband yesterday: "Honey, I could build you a bigger incubator...one you could get in there with them." "Yeah momma chick, maybe you could wear a little chicken suit mom!"

Har Har. I said "You just wait till there's little fluffy butts peeping around in there. You just remember that I was the one who loved them first!" LOL.

They thought that was hilarious. My Sister in law joined right in. Today, with a beak singing in there. she can barely tear herself away, and my son has a pillow set up in front of the viewing window laying there staring at it since he got up! I am VINDICATED! I said Hey guys, maybe Micah (hubby) could build one big enough for you to get in with them!"

Ooohhhh.......now she's chirping to me, and the hole is bigger. I can see yellow fuzz. Aaaghh! I cant take it! I have not openend the bator, but it doesn't mean I dont want to! I cant wait, this will be my first Serama. Of course, that is....If she makes it. I don't want to count my chick before she hatches.
