There are not snakes because I live it a neighborhood. I think the only possible predators are rats and possums.Be sure to predator-proof it, though. Are there snakes in your area? They can tunnel under the floor to get in.

There are still snakes. I lived across the street from a Brookshire's and found a 4 foot rat snake in my birdroom in one of the flight cages after eating several finches. There was a 5-6 foot one in the parking lot across from the university the other day. And last year there was one in somebody's office. lolThere are not snakes because I live it a neighborhood. Oh no! Sorry about the finches! Thankfully I’ve never seen one anywhere near my house, Just lizards. There are some in neighboring city’s but even on hiking trails in my area I’ve never seen one. But I’ll definitely make sure it’s snake proof anyway.There are still snakes.
