I have a Question about 4-H Fair Shows

Quote:
Both APA and ABA standards disallow clipped wings. If you plan to show birds, do not clip their wings. If you do not plan to show, do what works for you.

Well I've been showing chickens in 4-H for 3 years now, 7 in waterfowl, and if you are showing at the fair, clipped wings are a disqualification for the conformation side of showing. When it comes to the hands on showing, it depends on your fair on whether they will allow clipped wings. Now I don't know if it is the same in poultry. But when I showed Mandarin Ducks it was made very clear that the bird must NOT be clipped or pinioned.
