How do I search this whole forum to get an idea or general concesus on what is considered a reasonable price for selling a dozen eggs? Is that a state by state question? Should I of asked this in my particular states gathering thread - Texas?

And to be fair I'm not afraid of selling lower due entirely to our current national fiasco.

I'm also not afraid to freeze some of our eggs to use them later as well.

Thanks in advance y'all

I would check Craigslist, Nextdoor, etc. and see what the going rate is for your area.

Prices around me are anywhere between $3.00 and $5.00. Good luck and have fun meeting new people.

Grocery runs are essential so maybe you can sell by appointment from Nextdoor/FB/Craigslist? Eggs = food = essential
Or find out if there are people not able to go out for essentials and offer to deliver once a week nearby.

There may be a shortage of eggs on grocery shelf in coming months when they start making various vaccines (I think they use eggs to make many vaccines). New customers at that time may pay a premium. You might build up a loyal customer base now --even training them to give back egg cartons or give you fresh kitchen scraps for a small discount-- that gives you a nice loop in feed/packaging that you plow into your business/hobby.
