I just got a dozen EE eggs from ILOVEFRIZZLES here on BYC

Now I have a wonderful game hen who hatched a bunch of babies
back on Apr.4th! A few days ago she started pecking me to keep me
from getting 1 egg she had just laid, needless to say I got the egg
and felt bad because I think she wants to set again

My questions are...is this too soon for her to wanna sit again?
I feel nothing beats mother nature and I would like for her to set
the 12 EE eggs I just got today. So for all the experienced brood
mommas what is the quickest & easiest way to get her to go ahead and set these eggs? Also for a just in case measure I am getting the bator warmed up, now how long shall I give her to wanna set before putting them in the bator?

No, it isn't too soon for her to set again. I have 2 hens that are on their second brood after a little more than 2 months between clutches. Not really what I wanted but oh well.
I'd start the shipped eggs in the bator until you are sure she's broody. If you leave her eggs alone for a few days and she sets on them, then move the other eggs under her at night when she's asleep. It works for us. You could even wait to switch eggs until after you candle and only move the eggs that are developing. Good luck either way!!!
