I have a question on chicks in an Omlet Coop

I have a broody hen and I bought 3 chicks to put under her. The chicks are a week old. I have an omlet coop. I am wondering what the best way to do this is. Where should I keep the chicks? Right now they are in the nesting box with the mom. But they cannot get down from the Omlet to the run becuase it's so high. Shoudl I put food and water in the roosting side?
