I have a sick chicken and I need help!

Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? Have you seen any fowl pox in your other chickens? Are the 2 bumps on the face hard or soft, and have they changed color today?

We're putting a heat lamp on her tonight. The bumps are hard and haven't really changed color. I don't really know what fowl pox is but I haven't noticed anything with any of the others. She was vaccinated for mareks.

I've been giving her water with a dropper every little bit but she just doesn't seem interested enough to do it herself. I'm up for anything at this point!

I shoot for 5% to 10% of their body weight per day in water. So that means that a I would try to get ~100 ml to 200 ml per day into a 5 pound hen. Remember water first, then food,.

I may need to try that. Although, I've been giving her water with a dropper all day and now she's up and drinking on her own.

I'm hoping that means she's feeling better. I'll make sure she continues for now. If not, I'll intervene.
