Quick! Notify the Chicken Police!

Let them know that you have a teenage stalker whose hormones are in an uproar!

Post notices with his picture where ever you see eligible young females congregating to warn them of this lothario!

Who knows, one of them may take a fancy to your husband and start stalking him

Love those pix! We have a handsome Black Rosecomb Bantam too--complete with 2 hens. I love their shy, coy, comehither ways!! Our Zorro has a special place in our hearts!

--The hens are even sweeter....jumped on my DH's shoulders while he was working on the pump today. Then rewarded him for his company by laying an egg in an empty bucket beside him!

Love these birds!

Hey Dixiechick, we have all the same chickens. You can see what I got on my page. Nice meetin ya!

Yeah, this boy's a sweety. My hubby and I were working on our new coop last week and had to keep putting him down because he would fly up and perch on the coop right where we were working!! He'd either crow or just stare at me

It was freezing that day so I would take frequent breaks and curl up on a chair with him on my lap but I didn't want to wake him up when break time was over.

Here's a pic of Baby, my roo I hand-raised when I was a kid. His momma and siblings were killed by a dog and I found him underneath a bush peeping loudly. I think he hatched when I was 10 and Im 14 in this pic.

He slept in my room and never believed he was a chicken. When we did put him in the coop at about 3 months, he would be crowing on the front porch for mom to let him in in the mornings. He would hop up the stairs, walk down the hall and crow outside my door. I'd open the door we'd both hop on the bed.

Every day after school he would wait for me at the end of our half mile farm lane for the bus to drop me off. He was one of the most loyal friends I ever had but he was exiled by the other chickens for being too human. One nasty barred rock twice his size was the only hen who ever paid him any attention. I think babying him, robbed him of his chickenhood

Then I discovered beer and boys and he was lost without me. They require a lot of attention, just like a dog, if you spoil them.

Hi MsBear!
OK, after reading your page, I found out that we are "family" (at least through birds!)

Our cochin pullet just arrived from Jamie Matts!!! The bloodline of my Rosecomb hens are from Leslie Bennett in KY. I ordered one from Rick Hare from NY, but she died from heat stroke last year...It's so blessed hot down here in the summer.

I LOVE your Columbians. I am flirting with getting some from Jamie.

You are right! It is SO nice to meet you and welcome you into our family--not a lot of people have Rosecombs!

OK - So I am a sucker. I was fulling expecting that it was a co-worker or a person from your communitee. I was concerned for a moment, then I saw the pictures. My wife always says I am to gullible.

He is very cute. Thanks for the laugh!
