I have a very stong dislike for the USPS! Grrrrrrrrrr!!! Update :(

There is NO excuse for things like this happening not to mention the condition other pieces of mail arrive at your home. The majority (not all) of postal workers are careless and there to collect a paycheck to ultimately retire...that is it.

I will order from Meyer Hatchery again without question. My babies Hatched on Monday and were in my hands late Tuesday. They were sent Express Mail with tracking. The distribution center called me at 4:00 and said they had arrived and the man offered to wait for me to drive there to pick them up rather than wait till the next day to deliver them. I drove the 40 miles and examined my babies.

Since when is postage .47?....I just bought stamps and it was still .42.

Since Oct. 1st if I recall correctly. Edit: I stand corrected. It goes up to $.47 on Jan. 1st. I had to go check my stamps and USPS price sheet I just picked up.

The lone chick has made it through the night. I wonder if it will continue to pull through. It isn't moving around alot. It stays huddled at the heat lamp. I have seen it make an effort to drink and peck at the crumbles. It will peep occassionally. Mostly it sleeps with its little beak tip holding its head up.

My fingers are crossed that he will pull through. This really has bothered me. It is such a sad thing that our world that we live in has become so cold-hearted and non-caring. I wish there was something I could do to make this situation a better one, but alas, I have no magic wand. Cyn knows all about that magic wand.

I am trying to compose a letter to the post master general office that is not emotion charged and too angry. I am having some difficulty as you can imagine.
