I have a welsummer chicken and i am having a hard time determining if it is a rooster or a hen

Thank you so much for the replies everyone! That is so great to hear we are not allowed to have roosters where we live and have had bad luck with getting roosters and having to rehome them! She definitely does look like a brown leghorn!

So many breeds can look like that as chicks, it can be hard to sort them out. But she's a lovely pullet, and should be a wonderful layer for you. Not blue or green eggs, true, but lots and lots of large white eggs.

Thank you so much!! That makes me happy! We have two golden laced cochins that arent big layers so will be nice to have some larger eggs!
