That being asked, I have two wild pigs that I have raised since they were about yours' age and they are now about 1 1/2 .
Mine live in an enclosed pen (hog panel with timbers along the bottom ) have a nice sized house, mud hole and best of all......a litter box! Their enclosure is about 16' x 32 '
I let them out most days to run the pasture with my horses in the afternoons. They are grounded about 2 days a month because of their "female attitude" but otherwise they are very friendly and mindful. They come when they are called (doesn't hurt I usually feed them when they are called
)
I have 3 clips to keep the gate closed and they have never escaped, their pen nor my property . Well , actually thats not true, they did go out the gate one night when we left it open I went to feed and they weren't around. They had high tailed it down the road into the woods. We tracked them, called them and they happily followed us home. Yes my neighbors LOVE ME !
We feed them cheap horse grain, and anything else we can get our hands onto. Friends are good about bringing over stuff gone bad and they get garden leftovers as well. My only rule is NO MEAT for them. I dont want stinky poop and my babies are gonna be vegetarians, BUT I'M NOT
So, they live a great life until the time comes. Next year I start all over!
