I have 5 month old stag when I woke up this morning they all came to greet as usually but I saw him walking unusually slow and with his eyes closed halfway he does not have any signs of injury’s external at least im not sure if he maybe started fighting or something or a dog could’ve bit him I gave him some supertron b12 droplets that woke him up a bit he gets up now but I lay him down just in case I don’t want him to strain his sibilinos are fine they just woke up with him if this happened then I’m almost sure it was some type of injury

You need to thoroughly look him over for injury.
Have you examined his crop to see if it is empty or full?
I would put him in a crate inside so you can observe him and his poop after you have carefully examined his body. Put some electrolytes in his water and give him some chicken feed that is wet down. Offer him a little scrambled egg or tuna.

I did look thourougly I genuinely could not find anything I examined his crop it’s completely empty i did notice that his tail is low and I held it up for him I could tell it hurt since he started to shake I already had him in s cage so the other don’t pick at him
I gave him sugar water since I didn’t have electrolytes available I gave him on grain of corn but he didn’t seem to swallow I’ve been giving him lots of water because he seems a bit thirsty of course I help him swallow but I’ll see if the feed mash I’ll see if he is interested

How is he doing now?
Has he pooped? What's that like?

You're having to help him swallow? He can't swallow on his own?
I think I would continue to make sure he's getting fluids. If you are having to help swallow, then I would hold off on the corn for a while and see how it goes.

You mention holding the tail low, but if you lift it up it's painful for him.

Maybe he got kicked hard a couple of times. I'm just not sure.

What do his droppings look like? Do you feed a balanced chicken feed for all types and ages? I would look inside his beak for any yellow plaques or anything unusual. Look him over for lice or mites. Is he walking normally. Vitamins and electrolytes (gatorade, pedialye, etc) can be helpful. Scrambled egg, canned cat food or tuna, in small amounts along with his chicken feed are good to offer. He will probably be bullied in this weak condition, so keep him separated.

He’s doing slightly better his comb and wattle are red again he’s trying to get up and I hear him chirping but he has not pooped at all yet and yes I’m having to help him swallow I put in his mouth a few grains and he ate them but with help but yes I’m checking in every lil big giving him water with sugar to see how he gets I have him in a box with a light bulb since it’s cold outside

andyea he holds his tail low and his neck close to his body and I was thinking the same the other Roos are looking for fights so I think it could be that or maybe a feraldog but yes when I hold his tailup it starts to tremble

He has not defecated just yet I’m waiting but yes is suppose it’s a good feed I also supplement vitamins usually and he is not walking at all he just stands up if he walks it’s very slowly but I’m offering him water with sugar and a supplement but I have him separated just in case

For me, I would just work on fluids the first 24hrs and see how he does. Hopefully he will poop at some point.
Next day offer some wet/soaked feed. If grains/corn is what you normally feed, then I would go ahead and soak a small amount overnight to make them a bit softer.
