Not sure if this is a good idea...
I have found that sometimes, someone has a problem and doesn't know who to tag.
I was thinking we could have a page or document with each member and what their specialties are, so when someone has a problem, they can tag the correct person!
It may be a useless idea but I wanted to know what you think about it (or someone who can help me do this)

Maybe you can ask one of the moderators (@BYC Project Manager @Kiki ) if they think its a good idea to add such a post or list at the start of all threads with website info and faqs: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/
The list can have a number of subjects. People who are cracks in something can be added to that subject on the list if they give permission.

if it’s not obvious were this list can be found its not very helpfully imho.

And sorry for mixing up the helping hands on BYC. I’m grateful to all of you. And of course not to forget the crack in updating and improving BYC.

I didn’t know you have all kind of separated professionalisms. No multitasking?
Do the project managers decide as a group what contributions are honoured?

There are something like a million members. There are experts who follow the help me forums and often jump in to help but I don’t know how one would feel with possibly hundreds of requests. It could get overwhelming.....

Maybe a person can only be tagged using this method is only when they are online. Also maybe it can be toggled, like you can turn it on when you want to help and you can turn it off when you want to chill on BYC or help only a few people. For the overwhelming part, they can @ multiple people, meaning that a person doesn't need to respond to everyone. Maybe there can even be a little extra part where a person can un @ the people if the question is being worked on? I know that this is a lot of maybes and a whole ton of coding, but this would be pretty interesting.

I think a thread would be a lot better.

Also, I haven't posted much I just spend time looking But I see a lot of things on that sheet I don't agree with.
