I have an OVER-ACHIEVING chicken!

    Look at that size of that egg! Why would it be so big compared to any other eggs on any given day?

    I think you have a double yolker.....Crack it open and see....!!!! I once years ago got a triple yolker - I didn't think much of it as I've seen double yolkers all my life.....If I ever see a triple again, it will be a documentary!!!! ha!

    You got it! It was a double yoke- it looked siamesed- they were merged together. That is the 3rd double I got in two weeks. The others were not unusually large and were not touching. I wonder if all the double yokes are coming form the same bird?

    Usually when my pullets first start laying I get quite a few double yokers.
