Is your almond a clasical Almond someone had one and all they got were almonds.
The squabs will probably be red

If mom is recessive red, which it looks like she is, then you won't get any RR's in the first generation, UNLESS dad is carrying RR. Almond is dominant so you should get about half almonds and half non-almonds. It looks like your almond bird is kite based (bronze on a blue t-pattern or black bird. If it has a tail bar, then it is blue, if it has a solid black tail, then it is black). Since we don't know what is hiding underneath the RR, it's hard to say what color almonds you'll get, and what color non-almonds. But assuming your almond is black kite based, you'll get some more that look like dad, along with some blacks or other spread colors without the almond gene.

That's what I was thinking. It looks a lot like some of my ash-red velvets (t-patterns). It would be much easier to tell if the flights and tail weren't all white

The underside is quite red though. So I don't know.
