I have Barred Rocks, when can I Butcher the Extra Roos?

I sell mine at the local auction and they bring $8.50 to $10.00 for each roo. Not bad for only 12 weeks old.

Wow... why would people buy Roosters for that much? Most people would give them away...

My chicks are 16 weeks as well and I'm butchering very soon..argggggggggg way too many roo's, 43 chicks 34 roosters,,,,,, cackle hatchery sucks with straight run chicks. some of my chicks look huge but are mostly feather, but they are getting so naughty, with my hens, that I feel I have no choice.
