i have broody question

if i forget what day my duck went broody (i think 3 weeks ago or maybe 4) does it really matter since i can just keep an eye on her ohh and also if she is hatching out baby chicks and ducks do i have to remove the chicks since she will take them for a swim?

Yes, you will have to remove the chicks. Two reasons, chicks can't swim and they will hatch a week earlier than ducklings. Chicks take 21 days, while ducklings take 28 days. If the chicks hatch, she may abandon your duck eggs and leave the nest to get her babies eating. Good luck and keep a close eye for babies.

Yes, you will need to remove the chicks. Chicks hatch at day 21 and ducks at day 28, call ducks at day 26. If the chicks hatch at day 21 she might stop sitting on the duck eggs thinking that the hatch is done.
