I have discovered that 3 of my EE's are roos - Pictures added!

Wow, those white ones are absolutely gorgeous! All of them are, actually. I love EEs with their funny little faces.

I would keep all 3 for the time being, if your unhappy with any behavior later then get rid of the trouble maker, you have enough hens for 3 roos and then you can have nice babies and they are very handsome birds.

OK! It looks like they all have names

I like Rebel, Lancelot AND Arthur!

Now, all they have to do is be good little roosters so we won't have to re-name them Soup, Casserole, and Parmasan!

I don't have any hens that tend to go broody...maybe I'll have to get an incubator!

Keep your fingers crossed that they stay good boys. I'm encouraged you think I may be through the teenage dramas! There have been no fights, scraps, or anything - but they definitely have a heirarchy.

Rebel is top-dog.
Lancelot is the middle guy.
Arthur (although the largest - by far) is at the bottom of the totem pole.

Great looking boys. I especially like the white ones. You say none of your girls are broody right now, but I almost guarantee one of your Buff Orpingtons will go broody. Mine were constantly going broody. They make awesome moms.

Kelly G, I'm curious where these beautiful guys came from? I recently just hatch 1 single chick from 2 dozen (Gabbard Farm eggs). He just hatched yesterday and is completely yellow....came from a beautiful blue EE shell. I was researching white EE roo's on here to see what he will look like. I sexed "him" this morning but looking for a pimple...ish area in the vent. YEP...definitely a roo. Since he was the only one to hatch, only 2 of the 24 developed and the other was dead on hatch day

.....its a long story. I ordered 5.....one day old chicks from Meyer hatchery to keep this little guy company. I should get them on Tuesday or Wednesday:jumpy:ya I currently have 9 laying hens, 2 BR pullets, and 1 BR 3-4 months old roo. I'm not sure how the roo's will get along so I will have to wait and see what happens.

Those are some of the most gorgeous roosters I've ever seen!

The nicest rooster I have is a EE....he's the lead rooster and couldn't attack anyone if he tried.

I agree: if they grew up together (or even if not), they should do fine together.

If you want some tips on how to keep them non-aggressive, and tame them this may help: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=390911

I just saw the pictures of your suspect roo's. I too heard crowing the last few mornings out of my EE "hen". I got my three back in July. My suspect EE roo looks EXACTLY like your suspect #1. Now I am sure he is a roo. Shoot. I was looking forward to those green eggs. I will have to get a couple more hens from the hatchery. I did want a salmon favoralle rooster, but I guess that idea is out unless I plan on getting a few more hens. Hmmm...
