Already cycled those too. Seems like i'm getting notifications for new things (like this thread) but not older stuff/stuff I didn't start.

To add to it, I'm getting the notifications ON BYC about thread replies to older threads (and I even marked everything read to test). I'm just not getting the emails.

I just noticed that every time someone tags me I don't get a message saying I was tagged. I wonder what is going on?! I even have it set to get a message when tagged.

Yes, because it's a new post I made today. I'm not getting reply notices from OLD posts. This isn't the problem.

I noticed after a amount of time if its a thread I replied to a while back I won't get notices that someone replied to the thread. And its now happening with the question of the day archive thread.
I really don't know what is going on!

That's a separate thing. You will only get a notification for the first message after the last time you visit a thread. If you don't check it often they can stack up. That's by design so you don't get 500 emails if we get really rowdy on a Saturday evening. When you check the thread again next it should send you an email for the next post after you catch up.

The problem I'm having is I'm not getting ANY notifications for threads I've been active in for years after I unsubbed yesterday. New threads from today are fine.

I appreciate all the suggestions but this will need staff to look at. I don't break things easily

Try unwatching one, then rewatch it.
