I just picked up two 5wk old EEs (they were listed as Ameraucanas but came from hatchery stock so I'm going with EE). The rest of my flock are two different ages 6 of them are 15wks and 14 of them are 9wks. I know I need to keep the bigger pullets from picking on these guys, what I'm wondering is if I need to keep them completely separate (like in the house) or if they can be in the coop with my bigger girls but with a divider. What do you think? Is 5wks young enough to not be a problem or is it better to be safe than sorry?
Thanks everyone!
