Thanks. All I have to do in the morning is get the heat lamp and out of the chicken coop and bring it in and also bring the brooder into my room and plug the lap in and add water/food.

Boil the water, get some towels... "I don't know nothin' about birthin' babies!" opps, it's late and I'm worried about my BSL chicks,

If your letting the Hen hatch them out then why are you gonna take them from her and put them in a brooder do you have plans for them?

I was just going to ask this. If your letting a hen hatch them they won't be needing anything but food and water

She keeps them warm all on her own. It's the best thing in the world to watch too

You see the eggs that are going to hatch are from my "Pet" chickens, so I want to raise them myself so that they'll be very friendly.
Even if I take all the chicks away from them and raise them myself I'm getting around 5 silkie chicks from a breeder in a few weeks so they can raises them. Also I have 2 other broody hens and they are both setting on around 12 to 14 eggs each so I can always give them some chicks. Either way they "Will" have chicks one way or another, not to worry.

( I hope yall don't think I'm being mean by taking away the chicks ...
