Yep, every pullets matures at a slightly different age, just like us people...

Hello,
As others have mentioned above, it may depend upon the age of the chickens. If they are of laying age now, sunlight and shorter days has a huge effect upon laying. Eggs are much fewer as it gets colder. This is a time where the chickens kind of recoup from laying all season (as they get older). Don't fret. The chickens will lay when they are ready. Have plenty of egg boxes ready! We have our friends save them for us!
