he double hockey sticks on earth. and it is at my work.
Not my job, but one part of the property called "Imagination Acres"
It should be painted red and renamed.

I spent two HOURS today over there "supervising"(which is laughable) demonic children and their moronic parents and chaperons.
I dont know when it happens. But most of the adults leave their parenting and other adult "skills" either at the gate, on the bus or at home. If they have them at all.

One mom today was letting her precious son climb over a fence. Which are clearly marked "DO NOT CLIMB" The "rules" are posted all over the place.
I saw them. Came over and told them to please not climb the fence. To which the mom responded "They are young."
Huh? So that makes it ok to not follow the rules? Which are there for the safety of the guests and the children. And the animals.
Gee. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to teach precious to NOT CLIMB THE FENCE and learn to follow the rules.

Another wonderful group of kids came in and ransacked the entire play area in less than 4 minutes. I had to repeatedly tell this group to not climb the shelves. Stand on the toys. Throw the toys. Take the toys away from other kids(not in their group) and leave the toys in the play area.

One group of boys "kidnapped" the baby doll from some girls that were playing with it in another building. After I got the doll back for the girls, the boys went to the little store we have set up and robbed it. Well maybe looted it is a better description. But I am pretty sure the poor kid at the little cash register we have in there was freaked out. And yea. Chaperons/parents were there doing nothing.

I so want to take a day off. Pay to get in and not be "Farmer" and hang out over there.

It kills me how some parents could just care less! It happens way to much if you ask me! I volunteer in my good friend's kindergarten class, and let me tell you, what I see sometimes, I think would shock you! It seems that todays parents just don't get the parenting thing, or maybe I'm giving them to much credit!

Yeah, right. Its more like, its just to much work to make your kids mind and behave, especially when out in public. Heck, if me or my siblings EVER acting like that, I don't think I'd be here to talk about it!

. I feel for you.

last year at my sons 2nd grade christmas party..this kids mom showed up in a skin tight tank top and short shorts...tons of makeup and heels..in the dead of winter! (well technically the beginning, but it was cold!) she also managed to singlehandedly ignore her poor little girl the whole entire time. this girl was bouncing off the walls, getting into stuff, being loud..and mom couldnt tear herself away from her friends long enough to even notice.

I would gladly take my daughters entire class of 26 kids there by myself.
I know they would not behave like these kids did
