I have had a predator kill two of my ducks, one was a grown call duck and another was a 6 week old duckling.

The ducks had their heads eaten and their necks eaten. We have coyotes, racoons, owls, hawks, and foxes that live around us. Any idea what predator it may be?

I'm so sorry for your losses...


My guess would be a raccoon. But I have read others who have said that raptors will do that, too, sometimes. Foxes and coyotes will usually take the whole bird.
