Oh, a canvas used to cover the floor while painting....is called a Jackson Pollock...I never knew that...We just call them old canvasses here. Normally we throw them out when they get as bad as yours is.This is a Jackson Pollock

Ahh. it is the work of geese......I should have known. I owned geese once. They broke my heart, the waterer's, the fence, the sidewalk, and now the canvas....I hate geese!That looks more like geese to me.
