I have lost my mind

Merriam turkeys. We have them wild here and when I saw the eggs, I was more than tempted. I already have a BB white who is wonderful, but is unfortunately slated for Thanksgiving. Furthermore, he got injured by the geese so is a gimp and probably won't live longer than a year. We really like the personality and my husband actually agreed that we should get more turkeys.

I really want a nice flock of them.

Yes, ebay is evil. I wish I had never seen that you can purchase hatching eggs there. I just bid in some more eggs (Ameraucana) myself.

Luckily Turkeys wouldn't like my small backyard so I am *so far* not interested in them. I have looked at ducks though as I do have a small pond. HELP!

good idea!

I know how you feel, I have been perusing the chicken eggs for sale forum non-stop even whilst my bator was full and I had no broodies in sight. Now I'm going to have to watch your turkey hatch and resist the temptation to try some if yours go well.....my dh is going to divorce me lol
