Kudos to you for learning and actually applying this so-called chicken math....when you multiply you must also divide (how many roos will hatch along with my hens?). I think it is very responsible of you to consider that a person needs to have a plan for unwanted/unneeded roos when they choose to incubate or buy chicks. Loving chickens is also about being responsible about their welfare AFTER you don't want them anymore or can't keep them at your home. Good for you!
