i have my chickens today

today I started on adding some room to my coup. it's under the grapefruit tree. it will go to the garden fence on the inside. I will have another door so I get in there to clean and let them in the garden when I can for a bit. I have to add some wire a little higher so they don't fly out. I will post some more tomorrow. I added some wire to the bottom of the framing today and will add some hardware screen on the inside.

I finished the extension to the coup today. a day and a half blast of working on it. it's done and so am I. they have been all over it picking at the bugs in the dirt.

it's more of a day run for them I will put them up at night and close the door to it. and open it up in the morning for them before I go to work.




and my lab is absolutely fascinated by them. he barks at them because they ignore him. drives him nuts.




it may be hard to see there is hardware screen on the bottom part of the door. I have a drop down door on 550 cord to close off the run at night.
