And she's very serious about brooding:

Her sisters, especially Askew, watches closely:

Stan the Man shakes his wattles at the affair:

Louise is setting for sure!

I'm so proud of my little gal!

No, I'm not going to allow her to hatch anything this time of year. I'm not sure what her sisters think except to wonder why she is not roosting like the normally does. Her absence on the roost has rattled them for sure!

I love the way the gals are peering down at her. Is that Morse Code in the front of the box looking at the camera? She seems more interested in posing than the broody drama.

No, that's Askew. She's actually pacing back and forth. Morse Code has her feathered fanny toward the camera. She's not fond of the camera flash. On the other hand, Askew is right there when I have the camera! The poser!

Great pictures! She is very serious! My Buff Orphan went broody and hatched 5 babies. They are so fun to watch following her around the yard and all tucked in under her at night.

Yay for a broody! Any eggs to let her set on? I had a broody cochin once, but I had a roosterless flock, so had no eggs for her to hatch
