I have my FIRST broody!!!

Cinderella has been fighting me tooth and nail to hatch some babies, so I let her have some eggs! Two of her own and 8 mixed who knows, mostly silkie eggs! I incubated some eggs to hatch out on Vday and I didn't get a single baby so heres to hoping Cinderella can hatch her babies! Pretty excited to have a broody, never had one before! Shes being so good too, always on the nest and huffs and puffs if someone gets to close...

Thank you! she is for sure, I just got chicks in and really didn't want to add more but for about 5 days now I have been pulling her off the nest and she just refuses to stay off, I didn't have the heart to watch her pace and frantically try and get back to the nesting box any long so I have in and let her have eggs.

Week two so I opted to candle one egg, sure enough she is growing some babies!!! Shes a good mama so far!

*UPDATE* DAY 19 ANNNNNDDDDD
there's a little cotton ball in the nest!!!!

Mama did well, a lot better than I did with the incubator lol
