Wow this is tough! I have one in the brooder, One absorbing the yolk on the bottom of the incubator, one half out of the egg and one still needs to pip. This is so stressful and so much work but it is so worth it in the end!! They are so adorable. The one that is in the brooder has to run everywhere it cannot walk. It keeps tiring itself out, but it is so happy to be walking!

Too funny. I was just reading up on how to incubate duck eggs, because I saw another post with pics of baby calls, and just have to get some. Then I see this post. Lucky you! Congrats, and of course, now we need pics! Gotta get Calls....................

I do too. It just sucks that they are hard to hatch. We had to break them out. We had to slowly keep picking at the shell and membrane and work them out. They couldn't reach the shell to break it. We lost two because they suffocated in the egg. They broke the membrane, but never pipped the shell, so we learned the hard way how to help them out. I have 14 more due in 2 weeks *Hopefully*
