Well we went today to get a couple hens and came home with a turkey poult that was giving to us. He/she is not that old and still has it's egg tooth. Can it have chick starter feed? Would some scrambled egg be good for him/her to have? I am clueless about turkeys but I am trying to learn ASAP.

Thank You

I give my little ones game bird crumbles. Turkeys need high protein feed when they are young.
I think the scrambled egg would be great.

Best thing is to grind up some cat food. Get the high protons cat food. Never lost a poult with it. Feed it for two or three weeks then game bird starter

You should feed 28%-30% turkey/gamebird starter. I feed it until full grown to heritage turkeys then swich to turkey breeder. Broad breasted turkeys get starter for 6 weeks then swich to turkey grow (24%).

Purina Game Chow 30% start to pot.
