I have no idea what I am doing

I am trying to get things all wrapped up here for the winter and looking for suggestions and what I can cover the top and sides of my run with to keep the weather out. Preferable something clear to let the sun in and they can still see out but sturdy enough to last the winter. Any suggestions or other ideas would be greatly appreciated Just kept in mind that the outdoor area is pretty extensive and I'm trying to keep costs down too. Thank you :thumbsup

I went to the dollar store and purchased 4 clear shower curtains. The were 2 grades, one less than 5 bucks and the better thicker one which I used at about 7.50 per. Stood up very well all winter and looked good. Nice and clear for viewing.

Now tell us a 'Flynn and Lucky ' story please! and thank you.:D

You could try clear plastic sheeting, it comes in rolls of various widths, lengths, and gauges, you can find at a home improvement center...I used it to cover my garden tunnels and have used the same pieces 2 winters.
However, the chickens don't get a cover. They go out in wind, snow, rain, and don't seem to mind....they do have a porch on their coop, but often are out there in the weather.

I guess the ducks eventually get used to the noise of the plastic? We had really heavy rain and wind which left us with mud do I out a tarp up on the roof and the ducks spent the entire day in the gazebo. They were too affraid to go out and I can't tell you the mess that I had to clean up inside their house. Holy #%&$ and I mean it. They filled an 8x8 gazebo with crap and proceeded to run through it for 9 hours until I got home.

Okaaaay, I was hoping for something a bit more endearing in terms of a 'Flynn and Lucky' story,... but I'll take it!
I guess you just finished house cleaning.
