I use the raw AC vinegar in my pigeons water.Hey friends. I've been doing some reading on sour crop and everything says prevention is key. It's suggested that apple cider vinegar is added to their water 3 times a week and probiotics once a week as well as yogurt. My question is could this be overkill and lead to other issues or is it a good idea. If so I have raw apple cider vinegar is that ok to use? Also is this ok for ducks too?
True, could be her brotherHe may be one of Lucky's relatives.....
View attachment 1346445 Can't figure out if this guy is trying to get in or trying to bust Lucky and Flynn out. He comes to visit every day now. Flynn goes nuts but I can't tell if he is excited or mad. Lucky could care less. He is very handsome though
I have just filled my run with shavings where the call ducks are. Every so often I fluff it up with a rake and remove any really nasty wet stuff.. Then sprinkle some new shavings on top. But I also have that smooth rock around the pond area. The big ducks are making quick work of the grass in their area. .I expect to be dumping shavings in their corral very soonIf you find it I think you would not see it last the whole season in good shape - is there a more 'duck friendly' surface you could use with some growing frames or pots for green.
